The highlight of this point is that the view has a valley, with Kumaradhara River separating the beauty point and these mountain ranges. The forest department has erected a viewing platform with a sun-shade to sit and enjoy the view.
The thick forest is home of king cobras, tigers (rarely seen), elephants, Sambar deer, peacocks, numerous species of birds, Spotted deer, brown fox and Mahasheer fish, not to mention a number of flora and fauna which can only be found in this region of Western Ghats. The rare Nilgiri marten (Martes gwatkinsii) was sighted recently in Bisle forest.
The main attractions in the region is the 30km drive between vanagoor and kukke subramanya. This stretch is one of the most beautiful and scenic roads in western ghats and offers a seasonal magnificent view of green misty hills, deep valleys, roadside forests, rivers, streams and milky waterfalls. It is difficult to travel through this route without stopping and gaping at the mesmerizing beauty of nature and heart-stopping views. Driving in this road is little challenging due to bad road conditions and also there are couple of hairpin turns with steep incline where one needs to be extra cautious.
